Daniel K. O'Neill | President, First National Bank of Omaha
Dan has more than 30 years of banking experience and currently oversees the bank's holding company, First National of Nebraska (FNN), plus FNN's six charter banks, in addition to serving as President of First National Bank of Omaha. He is also active in five related financial holding companies. Dan joined the company in 1981 as an executive vice president and director. He began his banking career as a bank examiner with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1974. Dan currently serves on the boards of the Durham Museum, College of Saint Mary, and United Way of the Midlands.
Nicholas W. Baxter | Senior Vice President and Secretary
Nick joined First National in 1990 as a management trainee. In his current role as Senior Vice President, Risk Management, he is responsible for the management of the non-credit risk management infrastructure of the organization; specifically Enterprise Risk Management, Legal Issues, Compliance, Regulatory Agency, and Government Relations. Nick is active in the credit card acquiring industry and is past president of the Electronic Transactions Association. Nick was born in England and attended Malver College; Hull University; the College of Law, Chester; and the School of Law at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to moving to the United States in 1987, he was an attorney with a large commercial firm in Birmingham, England. Nick is also active in the local community, serving on various not-for-profit boards, including the Strategic Air and Space Museum in Ashland, Nebraska.
James B. Cole | Senior Vice President, First National Information Technology
Jim has been in the financial industry for 30 years with such organizations as BankOne, EDS, JP Morgan Chase and the Bank of Oklahoma. In his career he has managed virtually every aspect of bank operations and technology. He joined First National Bank in 2009 as the Chief Information Officer. Jim holds a B.S. from Ohio State University and a M.B.A from Xavier University. Jim has served on various not-for-profit boards and currently serves on the board for the Nebraska Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Jon P. Doyle | Senior Vice President, First National Operations
Jon is responsible for the First National Operations Group at First National Bank of Nebraska. In this capacity, Jon is responsible for all the lending, payment, settlement and back-office support functions, as well as operational compliance and risk. Jon joined First National Bank in 2000 as vice president of Wealth Management Operations. In 2006, he was appointed vice president of Payment Processing. Prior to joining First National, Jon held various operations management positions at Banc One and Bank of America. Jon is a graduate of Seattle University with a B.A. in Business Administration.
Mark P. Driscoll | Market President, Colorado
Mark joined First National Bank in 1980. During his tenure at the bank, he has served various management and lending roles, and most recently as President of First National Bank's Colorado locations. In addition, Mark worked at Colorado State University for seven years - four years as assistant football coach and three years as Director of Athletics. He currently serves on many not-for-profit boards. Mark received his B.A. in Business Administration and M.B.A. from Colorado State University.
Stephen F. Eulie | President, First Bankcard
Steve joined First Bankcard, the bank’s credit card division, in 2005 as the Chief Marketing Officer, and in July 2006 became President. Steve has over two decades of experience with banks including JP Morgan Chase, Citibank, Wachovia, and the Irving Trust Company. He has also held responsibilities in the insurance industry at Prudential and Providian Financial. Steve holds a B.A. from Rutgers University and a M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Michael S. Foutch | Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Mike joined First National Bank in 1984. Currently, he is responsible for all human resource efforts to develop and promote First National Bank of Omaha's high performance culture. He oversees the company's leadership and performance management, change management and employee communications, talent management and total rewards programs. Mike has served on various not-for-profit boards and currently serves on the boards of the Wellness Council of the Midlands, the Institute for Career Advancement Needs (ICAN), Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands and Council Bluffs, and The Urban League of Nebraska.
David J. Janus | Market President, Kansas
Dave began his commercial banking career in 1979 and has worked for banks in Michigan, Ohio, Kansas and Missouri. His experience in commercial lending includes relationship and sales management, credit administration and portfolio management. Prior to being named Market President of First National Bank's Kansas locations, he served as regional president of M&I Bank in Kansas City. Dave graduated from Michigan State University in 1978. Dave has served on numerous boards over the years and today serves on the boards of the Kansas City Area Development Council, the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Committee (Minority Business Inclusion/Development Council), the Heart of America Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City (Finance Committee) and is a member of the Civic Council (Investment Committee and KC Tomorrow advisory board).
Rolland D. Johannsen | Senior Vice President, Retail Banking Group
Rolland has more than 30 years' experience in the financial services industry. He joined First National in 2006 from JPMorgan Chase in New York City where he managed the Consumer Financial Services Group. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Johannsen was a sought-after consultant and President of Furash and Company, headquartered in Washington, D. C. His consulting practice provided strategic and tactical advisory services to a large number of financial services companies, including JPMorgan Chase, American International Group, Norwest, Compass Bancshares, Citicorp, M&T Bank, M & I and Cullen-Frost. Rolland has also assisted companies with acquisition and expansion initiatives throughout Europe and Asia. Additional industry experience includes senior management positions with Old Kent Financial (currently Fifth Third) and Society Bank (currently KeyCorp). Johannsen holds a Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Ohio University. He is the author of numerous articles on financial services trends and issues and a frequent speaker at industry events.
Clark D. Lauritzen | President, Wealth Management & Investment Banking
Clark joined First National Bank in 2003 and now heads the First National of Nebraska (FNN) Wealth Management & Investment Banking Group. Previously, he served as President of First National Investment Banking and prior to that as a commercial lender for First National Bank of Omaha. Before joining First National, Clark worked at Goldman Sachs in New York and Chicago in the Investment Banking Division's Financial Institutions Group. Clark serves as a director of FNN and First National Bank of Omaha. He received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his B.A. from Princeton University.
Stephanie H. Moline | Executive Vice President, Corporate Banking Group
Stephanie has been part of the First National Bank family since 1982 when she joined the bank's management trainee program. In her current position, she is responsible for the Corporate Banking Group which provides banking and cash management services to corporate and commercial customers of First National Bank. Moline received her executive degree from Darden Business School at the University of Virginia and her undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan. Stephanie is active in the community, serving on the boards of many philanthropic organizations.
Jerry J. O'Flanagan | Chief Credit Officer, First National of Nebraska
Jerry is a Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at First National of Nebraska. He is responsible for overseeing consumer, business, and corporate risk at First National of Nebraska, including its six charter banks. Jerry joined First National in 2006, bringing with him more than 19 years of credit and marketing, and general management experience with top financial services companies, most recently JP Morgan Chase as senior vice president. Jerry has also held senior management positions with Citibank in New York. He received his B.A. in Economics from Drew University and M.B.A. from Baruch College.
David N. Simmons | Senior Vice President
David joined the bank's holding company, First National of Nebraska (FNN) in 1972 when he started at Fremont National Bank. He established Fremont National's Trust Department in the late 1970's and served as the Bank's President from 1989 to 2007. Presently, David is FNN's Executive Officer over Special Projects with current responsibility for the merger of the Nebraska, Colorado, Illinois and Kansas bank charters. David has a B.A. in Business Administration and a M.B.A. in Marketing Management from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. He is a graduate of the Colorado Graduate School of Banking, University of Oklahoma Graduate School of Commercial Lending, Ohio State University's Advanced School of Real Estate Lending and the University of Colorado's Investment Management and Graduate School of Marketing.
Timothy A. Struthers | Market President, Castle Bank
Tim joined the Castle organization, now a division of First National Bank, in 1980 holding a variety of positions before becoming president of an affiliate bank in 1997. Tim received his B.A. in Finance and his M.B.A. from Northern Illinois University. He also completed the BAI Graduate School of Banking program at the University of Wisconsin. Struthers has served on numerous boards over the years and today serves on boards of the DeKalb Sanitary District, Illinois Council on Economic Education, and the Northern Illinois University Foundation.
Michael A. Summers | Chief Financial Officer, First National of Nebraska
Mike joined the bank's holding company, First National of Nebraska (FNN) as Chief Finance Officer in 2006. His direct responsibilities include Finance (including Business, Planning & Analysis, Corporate Accounting, Tax and Treasury), Corporate Insurance, Facility Operations and Procurement. He is instrumental in Strategic Planning and Alignment for FNN and its subsidiaries and is a board member for FNN and First National Bank of Omaha. After graduating from Creighton University in Omaha 1987, Mike joined Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he became a senior manager and developed a proficiency in the financial services industry by auditing and consulting with numerous small and mid-size banking clients. Since then, he has held various executive finance and operations roles at public and private companies in the technology, project management, energy and real estate industries. Mike has served on various not-for-profit boards and is currently an inactive certified public accountant.
